Editor-in-Chief, 2017
This was a labor of love in college. I served as the Editor-in-Chief, which made me responsible for advertising and collecting all submissions, assembling a committee to review and vote on submissions, and organizing all promotional events including open mic nights and opportunities to have artwork professionally photographed.
I was responsible for the layout, print, and production of the magazine. I met and toured print shops to make sure we were creating the best possible product. I also coordinated and hosted the magazine's launch party, which included readings from published authors. This was the first launch party the magazine had ever hosted, and is a tradition carried on today.
