As the Director of Branding and Design, I oversee all graphics and creative across 5 social platforms with nearly 1 million collective followers. I work alongside SEIA's Director of Digital Communications to ensure creative is engaging, informative, meeting trends, and brand compliant.
In the past year the design team has set strategic goals to increase data visualization content, often our highest performing creative. We tailor our designs and creative to each platform, showing a more artistic side on Instagram, a relaxed and funny side on TikTok, and a data-heavy informative side on X and LinkedIn.
As the Director of Communications, I don't just design all of SCAN's social media graphics, I also create and manage the social media strategy for the organization. In the first two years at SCAN, I doubled the organization's Instagram following, increased engagement on Facebook and LinkedIn, and created a TikTok page. The strategy includes a public education component, a fundraising component, and brand awareness.
As the Manager of Communications, I led all social media efforts at the Foundation. I strategically managed and executed an editorial calendar for the entire organization and created all social media assets.
I was also fortunate to dip my toe in influencer marketing and full-scale PSA productions. We partnered with several influencers, ranging in reach from 10k followers to 500k followers, to create sponsored content and expand our reach for a skin cancer social media campaign.
ICMEC is the international leader in #IntlMissingChildrensDay. I designed and released this campaign for ICMEC, which was then cross-shared by 10+ partner countries.
